Mark Oliver: A Toronto Dance Music Legend
Few DJs have left a bigger mark on Toronto nightlife than Mark Oliver.
From playing Toronto's first acid house party at the Tazmanian Ballroom in 1988, to co-running the legendary 23 Hop alongside the Exodus crew, and later becoming the iconic resident DJ at The Guvernment, Mark has spent decades helping define the city's electronic music culture.
His unforgettable sets at Destiny Fridays introduced generations of dancers to house, techno, disco, and everything in between.
For Shango, Mark brings a special set celebrating the music that has inspired dance floors for more than three decades.

Ron Allen: A Pioneer of Canadian House Music
Toronto's underground has quietly produced artists who've influenced dance music around the world, and Ron Allen is one of them.
A JUNO Award-nominated producer, songwriter, DJ, and co-founder of Strobe Records alongside Hayden Andre Brown, Ron played a key role in shaping Canada's early house and techno movement.
His productions have earned international respect, while his continued commitment to underground dance music has inspired generations of DJs, producers, and music lovers.
Whether behind the decks or in the studio, Ron Allen represents the spirit of authentic house music culture.

Completing the lineup are Shango founder Kiki LeFreak and Discott, guiding the night through deep house, soulful house, disco, techno, and underground dance music.
