Got 2 Have Your Love

Helen Sharpe’s “Got 2 Have Your Love” is Strobe Records’ JUNO-nominated 1992 vocal-house classic, produced with deep bass, jazz-informed keys and soulful club mixes.

The release pairs Sharpe’s emotionally direct vocal with Ron Allen’s musical house production, creating a record that moves between garage warmth, jazz detail and underground dancefloor weight. Its original mixes helped establish the song beyond Toronto’s local scene.

For DJs, the package offers the kind of vocal record that can define a set rather than simply decorate it. Collectors continue to value the original 12-inch, while digital access keeps its chords, swing and human feeling active for a new generation.
