Psyance’s “Komatoze EP” reconnects Ron Allen and Hayden Andre’s deep-tech alias with classic Detroit-influenced techno, electronica and machine-focused club sound.
Psyance—the Ron Allen and Hayden Andre project first associated with Plus 8—returns to a darker, machine-led space on the “Komatoze EP.” The release sits between classic techno, deep electronic rhythm and the duo’s taste for atmospheric, futuristic sound design.
For DJs, the EP belongs in sets that move across Detroit techno, bleep, minimal and deeper warehouse material. Its value is in tension and texture rather than obvious vocal hooks, giving selectors focused tools for late-night transitions and heads-down rooms. “Komatoze” extends the Psyance story beyond its early-1990s catalogue while preserving the project’s exploratory underground identity.
