“1992” is a Ron Allen deep-house release from the Underground Harmonics project, reflecting the musical atmosphere of Strobe’s formative era.
The track looks back through contemporary production rather than attempting a replica of the past. Deep rhythm, warm electronic texture and an unhurried arrangement connect the memory of early-’90s club music with Allen’s present-day studio language.
DJs can use “1992” as a bridge between classic and modern deep house, particularly in sets built on mood, swing and gradual progression. It is a reflective record with enough low-end purpose to remain fully functional on the dancefloor.
