The Strobe Records Classic Cuts vinyl reissue pairs two Hayden Andre Project tracks with two Kingdom Come productions from Toronto’s early-’90s underground.
“Broken Chains” and the Original Hardcore Mix of “Tribal Life” connect tribal-house percussion with Detroit-informed machine soul. On the reverse, Ron Allen’s Kingdom Come alias brings piano, warm pads and garage swing to “Groovy Baby” and “Jungle Bliss.”
Reissued through Clone Classic Cuts, the four tracks remain direct working records for DJs while documenting the cross-border exchange that shaped North American house and techno. For collectors and new selectors alike, the EP restores an essential piece of Toronto club history.
