“313 Jazz” is Ron Allen’s deep and soulful tribute to Detroit, connecting jazz-minded musicality with understated house and techno movement.
“313 Jazz” travels through Detroit in sound, pairing deep house warmth with the city’s tradition of futuristic rhythm and creative independence. Ron Allen shapes the track as a soulful journey rather than a blunt peak-time record, allowing atmosphere and musical detail to lead.
Its patient character gives DJs a versatile bridge between deep house, minimal and Detroit-influenced techno. The track can open a room, reset the energy after a harder passage or add reflective colour to an after-hours sequence. Originally connected to the Underground Harmonics project, “313 Jazz” honours the 313 without imitation—music rooted in respect, mood and the freedom to move between genres.
