Ron Allen’s Trancendence alias returns on the “Danze EP,” a five-track Detroit-techno-influenced follow-up to the 1991 “Concepts Of Higher Dimension EP.”
Originally created as the follow-up to “Concepts Of Higher Dimension,” the “Danze EP” finds Ron Allen returning to his Trancendence alias with five tracks shaped by Detroit techno. “Danze,” “I-75,” “Lost In Phaze,” “Trans Detroit Express” and “Medit8” move through travel, motion and machine-minded atmosphere.
The EP offers DJs a complete late-night arc: driving cuts, deeper transitions and reflective electronic passages connected by Allen’s rhythmic discipline. It is equally at home in classic techno sets and house programs that need a sharper Detroit edge. Archival in origin but functional in structure, “Danze” documents Strobe’s long connection to the Toronto–Detroit corridor.
