Ron Allen remasters and edits the 1990 pre-Strobe Aztech release “Symphony Of Brotherhood,” reconnecting early Toronto house and techno ideas with digital DJ culture.
Before Strobe Records, Ron Allen recorded under the Aztech alias. “Symphony Of Brotherhood” returns from that 1990 period as the Jangled Discord Ron Allen Edit, freshly remastered for digital release and reframed with a contemporary DJ’s sense of pacing.
The track offers selectors a direct line into Allen’s pre-label development, where classic house, Detroit-techno influence and deeper electronic ideas were already converging. It can bring historical texture to a modern set without becoming purely retrospective. This is an origin-point recording made playable again—a piece of the sound that would soon evolve into Strobe.
