“Getting Hott” is a remastered Warpath club cut by Ron Allen, originally licensed to Strictly Rhythm for the 1994 “Makin Trax EP.”
Under his Warpath alias, Ron Allen created “Getting Hott” for the 1994 “Makin Trax EP,” originally licensed to Strictly Rhythm. The track carries the direct, functional energy of the era: a groove designed to raise the room’s temperature and stay locked to the floor.
Its return to digital gives DJs access to an authentic piece of Toronto–New York house history. Program it inside a 1990s set, use it to inject raw swing into current club music or let it bridge Strobe’s underground sound with Strictly Rhythm’s wider legacy. “Getting Hott” is archival house with a working DJ purpose, not a museum piece.
