“Just A Party” is a remastered 1994 Wax Fruit cut by Ron Allen, originally released on Definitive Recordings and restored for classic-house DJs and collectors.
Originally issued on Definitive Recordings as part of the Wax Fruit EP, “Just A Party” returns in remastered form. Ron Allen’s production carries the directness of 1994 club music: groove first, personality intact and no wasted movement.
For DJs and collectors, the digital restoration brings a rare piece of Toronto house history back into usable rotation. It can energize a classic-house set, add authentic 1990s swing to a modern program or connect Strobe’s catalogue to the wider Canadian underground of the period.
