“Broken Chains” is a classic deep-house cut from Hayden Andre’s “Tribal Life EP,” carrying the percussion, depth and warehouse spirit of early Strobe Records.
Hayden Andre’s “Broken Chains” comes from the classic “Tribal Life EP,” expanding the release beyond its title track into a deeper and more reflective corner of the record. The production retains the physical percussion and underground economy associated with Strobe’s earliest period.
For DJs, it offers a less obvious selection from a foundational EP—ideal for classic-house sets, deep transitions and selectors who prefer B-side discoveries to predictable anthems. “Broken Chains” carries early-1990s Toronto character while remaining direct enough for modern systems, a reminder that the depth of a catalogue often lives beyond the best-known cut.
